Keeping on Going ~ Keep on Growing

The Astro Energies of October 14 - 20th

A loose Grand Cross is forming in the sky this week with a Stellar Full Moon in Aries just after the intensity of eclipse season has passed.  This has the same flavor as the past several months but this is not an eclipse!  Let’s call it a Full moon on steroids.  We all know that steroids can make people feel inflated, irritated, bigger than life and also less than.  We have some positive energies coming to support us as we’re tired and ready for retrieve, but the cosmos are yelling, Not Just Yet! We are rebirthing our worlds.

*Im focusing on this Full Moon in Aries aspect in the week which occurs on Thursday but we will feel the build up all week. We have a couple wild energies leading up, but hopefully less than alarming! It’s just the times we are in!  I look forward to less intense energies pouring in from the cosmos, but that’s not for a while, my friends. Its not bad, it's just demanding us to transform and grow!   I’ll be here to share!

A Grand cross occurs when four celestial bodies form a pattern that creates two oppositions and two squares, forming a square in the chart. In this case, the Sun in Libra, the Moon in Aries, and the involvement of Mars in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn. Here’s how this square may be broken down.

~Sun in Libra: Represents relationships, harmony, and balance. It seeks cooperation and beauty in partnerships.

~Moon in Aries: Signifies emotional assertiveness, independence, and a desire for action. It often brings forth strong feelings and a need to express oneself.

~Mars in Cancer: As the ruler of Aries, Mars represents action, aggression, and drive. When Mars is in Cancer, it may indicate a more protective and emotionally driven approach to asserting oneself around things that are dear.

~Pluto in Capricorn: Intensely represents transformation, power dynamics, and deep psychological processes. Its involvement in this Grand Cross can indicate themes of intense change or confrontations regarding power and control and death and rebirth.

Grand Cross Energies

   - A Grand Cross often signifies internal and external tension. The opposing energies can create a sense of being pulled in too many directions, leading to feelings of conflict or frustration. You may feel torn between your desires for independence and the need for harmony and cooperation.

   - The square aspects can generate a dynamic energy, prompting action and change. This configuration can push you to confront issues in your relationships, assert your needs, and navigate power struggles. The influence of Mars may amplify this drive to take action, while Pluto can deepen the intensity of these confrontations. (Eek). Breathe. Count to ten.

   - With the Moon in Aries, Mars in Cancer who rules the Moon, and Pluto at the last degree of Capricorn in the mix, there could be significant emotional transformations and rebirths taking place. You may need to confront deep-seated fears or issues related to personal power and control in relationships. This can lead to profound insights and personal growth if navigated constructively.  This can be in relationship with self and all other partnerships, not just romantic. The tricky part may be to not let the emotional frustrations or stress cause you to loose your cool. Thats my warning*

   - The axis of Aries (self) and Libra (others) highlighted by the Full Moon  emphasizes the need to find a balance between asserting your individuality and attending to your relationships. You may be called to navigate conflicts between your own needs and those of your partners.

   - The presence of Mars can encourage proactive energies. You may feel motivated to take decisive steps in your personal or professional life. However, it’s crucial to channel this energy wisely to avoid impulsive decisions that could lead to conflicts.  It may not be the best time to act, but create a plan or work on what it is that needs to shift.

   - While a Grand Cross can feel challenging, it also presents opportunities for empowerment and growth!  Confronting these tensions can lead to breakthroughs and a clearer understanding of your desires and boundaries. I, myself, have been steeped in growth around relationships of all kinds. I suspect this is no different than the energies that have been presenting.

Here I’ll add a little spicy fun to the mix that I haven’t shared with my peeps yet.  I work with the Asteroids and Fixed Stars in the Cosmos as well!  They are the details that are often missed in a lot of astrology.  I feel that as we keep evolving as humans, these bodies will become more prevalent in the practice of reading the planets.   These bodies are adding a lovely and supportive energy to the tension and felt right about sharing.  We’re growing and the more positivity we have right now, the better!

The Sun is conjunct Juno (asteroid) and the influence of Spica  (Fixed Star) adds positive qualities and potential benefits to the overall astrological configuration, particularly in the context of the Grand Cross formed by the Sun, Moon, Mars, and Pluto.

Juno is an asteroid associated with commitment, marriage, partnerships, and the dynamics of relationships. When the Sun is conjunct Juno, it highlights several beneficial themes:

~Focus on Commitment. Juno amplifies the importance of commitment and partnership in your life. You may find yourself more attuned to your relationships and what they require for growth and stability. It encourages a deeper understanding of what you seek in partnerships. We are looking at the level of commitment that we want with people in our world view right now.  This conjunction is helping you decide what you truly value and desire from your partnerships. It’s an excellent time for discussions about commitments and future plans.

~Balancing Independence and Partnership. The Sun and Juno's influence, there is a strong potential for finding balance between your personal needs and the needs of your partnerships. This could foster healthier dynamics and better communication.  Better relationships all the way around will be birthed, within and without.

~Empathy and Understanding: The Sun-Juno conjunction can enhance empathy and understanding within relationships. You may feel a stronger sense of loyalty and a desire to nurture those you care about, which can promote harmony even amid tension.

Spica is one of the brightest fixed stars and is associated with success, creativity, and abundance. Its influence can enhance the energies present during the full moon:

~Success and Recognition:  The presence of Spica with the Sun can bring a sense of achievement and recognition. You may find that you feel that energy is being appreciated and that positive outcomes can come from connections you have right now.

~Creative Inspiration: Spica is linked to artistic expression and creativity. This influence can inspire innovative ideas, encouraging you to express yourself authentically and pursue creative endeavors with passion within the self and with others.

~Positive Relationships: Spica’s influence can enhance your ability to form positive and supportive relationships. With the Sun's focus on partnerships combined with Spica's energy, it's a favorable time for building connections that are uplifting and mutually beneficial.

With the loose Grand Cross involving the Sun, Moon, Mars, and Pluto, the beneficial qualities of Sun conjunct Juno and the influence of Spica can provide a counterbalance to the potential tensions. I am grateful they are here with us to support these energies.

While the Grand Cross may bring challenges and conflicts, the Sun-Juno conjunction and Spica’s positive influences can help allow empathy and understanding, creating a space for constructive conversations and resolutions in relationships.  The focus on commitment from Juno can help you navigate the complexities of your relationships during this time, providing clarity on what you need to assert as an individual (Moon in Aries) while respecting the needs of your partnerships (Sun in Libra).  The creative energy from Spica can inspire innovative approaches to challenges, encouraging you to think outside the box and find solutions that are both authentic to you and considerate of others. Let's focus on being the best we can right now for self and others.

This is an intense time for introspection, relationship growth, and creative expression, allowing you to navigate the complexities of your own personal reality with greater insight and intention. Embrace the opportunities for connection, commitment, and creative exploration that arise during this full moon.  Things may get tense, but it is my experience that these tension points offer massive realizations of self and the way we will move forward in our own worlds. This is a period that can ultimately lead to greater clarity, empowerment, and alignment with your authentic self if approached mindfully.  We are undergoing massive shifts now.

Ask yourself :

Am I honoring my own needs and values in my relationships?

What are my needs and values?

Am I being vulnerable or rigid?

Can I allow myself to take account of how I am feeling around the way that I relate with others and do their need to be any adjustments made?

Is there something that I must let go of to feel like I am authentically living as myself? (south node is still with Libra and were being asked to let go of anything that is not aligned with our greatest self, NOW!

Be so blessed.  Allow yourself grace and offer it freely at this time.  We’re all navigating these terrains together while we have other massive stories playing out in the sky.  I can tell you that we will all remember these times as we grow and likely talk about how transformative they were, personally and collectively

Sending love and holding space ~

Reach out if I can be of service to you during these times.
