Energies for the Week of April 28th

The Rainbow Appears after the Storm

The overarching theme is feeling your feelings and recognizing that we are in new terrain.  We have just gone through the wild terrain of the Mars Pluto opposition and the New moon in Taurus on Sunday helped to ground that pressure. The sky seems bluer, the flowers seem more vivid and the world may feel much more willing to bless us in ways that we truly appreciate.   Don't be surprised if you find yourself unexpectedly moved by art, music, or even wanting to make a purchase that add beauty to your world. The Sun in Taurus, ruled by Venus, is filling us true earthy, substantial and sometimes big desires!  This is the universe reminding you of the beautiful, messy, and vibrant tapestry that is your world. Wear it this week and feel the new outfit well!  The worst of the year is behind us and we will feel even more romantic, connected and spiritual by weeks end as we have Venus entering Aries where she’ll meet Neptune and conjunction his spiritual whimsical, devotional, ideal archetype.

The week begins with a stable, grounded and lovely vibe.  Use it.  It’s been a doozy for months.  I like to tell people often that I don’t live by astrology, but I do live with it.  The more you connect to astrology, the more you can use the astrology.  I think it’s a powerful tool to use for all things in life.  We can navigate and use this powerful transits to time our lives with mindful and worthy pursuits.

Thursday, Venus Ignites the Aries Flame

Thursday is where things do get interesting. Venus, the goddess of love, beauty, and all things delicious, dances into fiery Aries. This is where things can really start to simmer and pop.

Notice that you may find yourself feeling more alive, and more willing to invest in your best self. Expect a sudden surge of confidence or empowerment with a desire to just go make something happen. That outfit you've been eyeing? Buy it! That person you've been crushing on? This can be a powerful time to initiate a conversation.  Just make sure its not a lusty vibe, but a real magnetic connection. Neptune here can create some fog and over idealization, but if you’ve been eyeing something for awhile, its a green light kind of energy!  This isn't the time for playing it cool. Venus in Aries wants action, adventure, and a whole lotta spice. As she rose in the sky as the Morning Star, she is much more warrior like and ready to do as she pleases.  Who should tell a girl no?  Or boy?

* Caution: Be mindful of impulsivity! While Aries energy is fantastic for initiating, it can sometimes lead to jumping before you look. Take a deep breath before committing to anything too drastic. Think fiery and hot, not flaming dumpster fire!

Friday, Venus Conjuncts Neptune - Sacred Love, Idealization, Beauty and Divine meet Venus’s desirous intense new vibe!

This is where the magic truly happens. (Or total deception) I want to stay very empowering here but beware of love bombing and over idealization!  Use this energy.

We can prepare for an energy of heightened intuition, creative inspiration, and the feeling that anything is possible. This is the perfect day for daydreaming, writing poetry, painting, listening to music, or spending time in nature. Romance is in the air, but it's a romance tinged with idealism. This isn't necessarily a promise you’ll be finding your soul mate (though it could be!), but rather about experiencing the feeling of being deeply connected to something larger than yourself. Divine is here to spark the magic again! As a woman that is in constant contact with the Divine, I can tell you that in recent months it’s been much quieter and now the channel is much more open and flowing with beauty and healing.

*Caution:  This conjunction could be labeled as potent for escapism. Don't get so lost in the clouds that you forget to pay the bills or show up to work. Ground yourself with simple activities like a walk in the park, a healthy meal, or a conversation with a trusted friend.

This week is about embracing your inner self, the deeper spaces as well as the higher, allowing yourself to dream big and vivid, and expressing your desires with empowerment. It's a time for passion, creativity, and a healthy dose of self love. Just remember to balance the dreaminess and ideals with a grounded approach. Don't let the illusions of Neptune cloud your judgment entirely. We do have to take the rose colored glasses off periodically to make sure we are in real time. Overall this is a gorgeous and really lovely week!  I think we will all welcome it.
